Hello! I'm Carolien.
With a deep passion for capturing the art in many forms, photography has always been my true calling.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working on various projects that have enriched my skills and creativity - from designing, editing, and capturing light and love in a unique way. Each experience has shaped me personally and professionally, driving me to constantly seek new opportunities to evolve and expand my artistic horizons.
My journey
2016 - Began my adventure studying Graphic Design at the North West University of Potchefstroom, South Africa.
2020 - Graduated with a degree and honours in Graphic Design, realizing I didn't want to pursue corporate designing.
2021 - Married the love of my life, moved out of the city of Pretoria to embark on a slower-paced living in the countryside of SA, and welcomed our newest family member, little George our cocker spaniel.
2022 - Lost my mom to cancer and decided to follow my true passion: Fine Art & Photography.
2023 - Moved to the US for my husband's work.
2024 - Managing a full-time art business and pursuing my passion for photography.
